In reply to your Despatch No. 131 of the
12th. ultimo, which crossed my Despatch No. 153 of the 24th. of
last April, I have the honour to inform you that no charge will
be made for the use of the Hongkong plates in the manner propos-
-ed.
2.
I shall be glad to learn what precautions
will be taken to ensure that all stamps printed with these
plates for the General Post Office will be so overcharged as to
prevent their use in Hongkong.
